About This Spot

Stepping into Boyea's Grocery & Deli feels like crossing the threshold into a familiar neighborhood corner that has quietly earned its place in the daily rhythms of Moriah Center. The pace here moves just right—not rushed, yet comfortably attentive, the kind of spot where locals pull up for a quick bite or a friendly chat, carrying with them the easygoing spirit of a community hub.

The atmosphere blends the warmth of a longtime gathering place with the simple practicality of a neighborhood grocery, where shelves hold everyday essentials alongside moments of culinary delight. Behind the counter, there’s a genuine hands-on energy that speaks of ownership and care, reflecting a place that knows its regulars’ names and favorites.

At Boyea’s, the kitchen hums with familiar favorites that soothe and satisfy, from piping hot pizzas to stacked sandwiches that reveal the thought put into every detail—fresh bread, generous fillings, and a balance of flavors that doesn’t shout, but rather invites you back. You won’t find flashiness here, just honest, thoughtfully prepared food that fits seamlessly into the local fabric. The wings and burgers, often requested family classics, offer comfort in generous portions, while the mac & cheeses nod to a homey approach with a hint of indulgence.

What stands out most is the way Boyea’s holds space for its community—serving not only food, but a pause in the day, a shared experience that satisfies far beyond the plate. The place has its quirks and candid moments, yet it thrives on the connections that come with being a local staple: when things don’t go perfectly, understanding and respect flow both ways, crafting a relationship that feels grounded and real.

For families, campers passing through, or anyone looking for reliably good comfort food with a dose of local character, Boyea’s Grocery & Deli feels like a quietly cherished discovery. It’s not just a stop along the road, but a spot where food and familiar faces intersect, offering both nourishment and the uncomplicated joy of belonging.

We are in Port Henry camping and found this place and decided to give it a try. I have NEVER had a Buffalo chicken salad this good. I believe they shred fresh mozzarella in it also. All ingredients were super fresh. The size of the salad was enough to feed three people. We stay her for the summers and this will now be our go to!

I love Boyea’s. Even if something is messed up or missing, as long as you’re courteous and treat them like human beings, they will happily correct your issue. I’ve seen reviews saying they’re rude and horrible, but that’s not our experience at all. Their smash burgers are amaaaazing too. I say give them a shot and I’m sure you’ll be happy. Thank you, John, for always doing your best to keep customers happy even when they’re not kind in return.

We basically stopped ordering from boyeas as of 5 months ago, on our last 3 orders leading up to us not ordering anymore, we received pizzas a quarter burnt to half the pizza being burnt( kids wouldnt eat it) crust was like a rock and when we called and sent pics to the owner he told us he was done with replacing the pizzas to just eat it and stop inspecting his food. We werent inspecting it, we seen it when we opened it to get a slice. Not sure what was going on at the time with the owner but we figured we would just be done and order else where. Ppl that work there are awesome tho! They always greet ya with a smile! We will give boyeas another shot sometime done the road prob. I do recommend the chicken wings tho! It's says a dozen but u only get 10, but there very good, wife loves em! Burgers are good to!

Food as always was great..the kids ( my teens) always look forward to Boyea's night and that says lots as my 16 year old gal is and always has been the pickiest eater ever. I can count on my fingers the number of things she will eat...Boyea's pizza and chicken fingers have always been included. This is my first time picking up the food as we just moved into witherbee feb 1..and your restaurant is now 2.1 miles from our house..perfect!. A young man and a young girl were providing customer service and they were excellent... friendly and polite. The place itself.. only glimpsed but very neat. It seemed like everything was in its designated spot.

This is hit and miss sometimes they are good but if they are busy it sucks and if they are really busy they turn off the phone. Not good business practices

I spent a lot of money on dinner for my family last night and I have to say that it was worth every penny! Everything was delicious and the people who work there do a great job. Thank you!
